Live Shows onboard Disney Cruise Ships

 

Disney Cruise Line hosts a number of live shows which truly are world class and offer their very own board-way style performances. As different shows take to the stage every night, following a different story line, your favourite Disney Characters are incorporated encouraging you to sing along and scream “wow”.  Take a moment to find out which performance is on that evening, in the daily navigator deliver to your room in the evenings.

 

All aboard: Let the Magic Begin (Disney Magic – 7 Night Cruises)


Hop onboard on the Disney Magic and engage in the ‘All aboard: let the magic begin’ performance, lasting roughly 50 minutes on the day of embarkation. This live show features a variety of acts as you follow the story of a junior cruiser who dreams of becoming a captain. Watch as his dreams come to life through musical performances, comedy acts and magic tricks, with special appearances from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Pluto.

 

The show offers two viewings at 6.15pm and 8.30pm, depending on your chosen dinner sitting.

 

Disney’s Believe (Disney Dream & Disney Fantasy)


This 50 minute performance is provides a spellbinding story of a hard working father, Dr Comelius Greenaway, who through the power of magic reconnects with his daughter and learns a valuable life lesson which changes their relationship. Look out for some of your favourite characters including Genie, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, Belle, Princess Titana and many more as they embark on this comical adventure of discovery and captivating magic.

 

Disney’s Aladdin – A musical spectacular (Disney Fantasy)


As one of the newest productions to be brought to the Disney Cruise Line’s, this 45 minute performance offers a comical musical take on Disney’s famous Aladdin. Visit the streets of Agrahah with classic scenes from the movie such as Prince Ali’s arrival and the flying carpets discovery of a whole new world. As action spills out from the aisles, celebrate with all the film’s main stars including magical lamps, wise genies and beautifully princesses in this Broadway style production.

 

Sing until your heart is content with all favourite classics, composed by the famous Alan Menken with collaboration from Howard Ashman and Tim Rice to name a few.

 

The show offers two viewings at 6.15pm and 8.30pm, depending on your chosen dinner sitting.

 

Disney Dreams – An Enchanted Classic (Disney Magic & Disney Wonder)


Whatever you do, make sure you don’t miss this award winning musical show celebrating what it means to dream. Follow Anne Marie and her tales from time as she struggles to believe her dreams really can come true, until one night after a visit from the Blue Fairy and Peter Pan. Fly through the magic as Anne Marie remembers Disney’s happily ever after moments, including special appearances from Pinocchio, Cinderella, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast to name a few. Adding to the magic dramatic laser and pyrotechnic effects are used throughout the show.

 

The show’s duration lasts approximately 50 minutes long and offers two viewings at 6.15pm and 8.30pm.

 

Disney Wishes (Disney Fantasy)


Disney Wishes begins with best friends Kayla and Nicole who visit Disneyland Resort for their graduation with Nicole’s twin brother Brandon. Unsure what the future holds, the pair make a wish which uncovers a whole new world, full of exciting adventures. Including special appearances from Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Lilo, Mulan, Hercules and Pumbaa as well as a few more, the trio discovers the child within has never really left. The show lasts about 45 minutes with special laser effects throughout. 

 

The Golden Mickeys (Disney Dream & Disney Wonder)


Dedicated to Walt Disney and his finest creations, the ‘Golden Mickey’s’ offers awards to the Disney stars nominated with their specific categories. When the presenter does not show and a shy replacement steps in, they are forced to learn about the characters receiving the awards through a number of sing and dance ensembles. The show features songs from Snow White, Toy Story, Pocahontas, Lady and The Tramp, Hunchback of Notre Dame and many more.

 

The show’s lasts roughly 50 minutes and offers two viewings at 6.15pm and 8.30pm. Get to the theatre with plenty of time before as you will be greeted by Rona Rivers on the red carpet. As she speaks to the guests on mic with an experienced camera crew, you will find it is then broadcasted onto the screens inside the theatre.

 

Remember the Magic: A Final Farewell (Disney Magic)


Catch ‘Remember the Magic’ the day before debarkation day which takes its guest on one final parade around the Walt Disney Theatre with a combination of all the live shows leading roles. As the couple gets ready to leave the ship they look back on their vacation and some of the most memorable moments including special appearances from Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Cinderella and Aladdin.

 

A final farewell has a run time of about 50 minutes with two viewings at 6.15pm and 8.30pm.

 

Toy Story – The Musical (Disney Wonder)


Join Marvel and shrink to the down to toy size as you enter Woody and Buzz Lightyear’s world in Toy Story – the musical. The Broadway style musical mixes song and dance to create an exciting medley of the Disney Pixar’s best bits.

 

The performance consists of 7 songs, 6 of which you are sure to recognise and ‘You’ve got a Friend in Me’. The set displays a larger than life version of Andy’s room, designed by expert Sibyl Wickershemier who uses the power of projection to create a real life illusion. Each carefully thought of costume is perfectly styled with a 9 foot Rex, Mr Potato Head and Plastic Army Men coming to life.

 

Choose one of the two viewings at; 6.15pm and 8.30pm, depending on your allocated dining time. The show lasts approximately 1 hour.

 

Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story (Disney Magic)


As a spin-off of Cinderella, this musical twists the story line in the case that the glass slipper is broken and poor Cinderella must find another way to prove her existence to the prince. As both the wicked fairy Godfather and great fairy Godmother go head to head as the Cinderella and her ugly step sister fight for the prince’s approval. Who will he marry? Be sure not to miss this one and find out. Including Bibbidi Boddidi Boo and a Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes scenes with Choreography from Karma Camp and James Kronzer’s.  

 

Show times are at 6.15pm and 8.30pm and lasts about 50 minutes.

 

Villain Tonight! (Disney Dream & Disney Wonder)


Come and join the most evil Villains in Disney Cruise Line’s Villain Tonight! As the curtains draw open the story’s main character, Hade, finds himself fighting to save his ‘Lord of the Underworld’ title, after the fates warn him his power is in danger. Happiness is seeping into the dark Underworld and wicked acts are fading. Hade decides he must call upon Disney’s most sinful villain and scoundrels before his kingdom is taken away. The performance offers side stitching humour and upbeat music. Look out for special appearances from Ursula, Cruella De Vil, Captain Hook, Scar and The Evil Queen who rises up deep within haunted forest.

 

The show lasts approximately 1 hour. The performance starts at 6.30pm with another showing at 8.30pm, depending on what your allocated dining time. Please check your Personal Navigator, delivered to your room every night, for more information.
