Inspired by Disney Pixar’s Ratatouille film, this French themed restaurant offers an upscale luxury dining experience, with only the finest French delights for dinner.
The restaurant boasts charming ocean views as you look out to sea through the 180 degree glass window panels. Green, red and gold colours blend together nicely to create an authentic Art Nouveau style décor which is softly lit throughout. Tables are dress with white linen and embellished chair backs to compliment the floral markings on the wall and leaf carpet designs. Top quality glassware and silverware finish off this sophisticated setting, providing a space for intimacy and fine dining.
Enjoy a tantalizing selection of evening dishes for dinner or exquisite champagne brunch, each adopting a French inspired twist. For dinner, begin with an elegant cocktail or glass of a pre-chosen wine from the restaurants stellar. Dinner is made to order, comprising of multiple courses including an after dinner selection of international cheeses, coffee and herbal teas. The gourmet menu was created by Chef Amaud Lallement from L’Assiette Champenoise (a Michelin 2 star restaurant from just outside Reims) and Chef Scott Humnel, an award winning chef at Victoria & Albert’s at Walt Disney World Resort.
For a more a more intimate experience, Remy hosts a more private venue, in the Gusteau Room. Here, the head chef puts on an elaborate interactive cooking display and food is cooked to preference. The room is dressed with bold red chairs and twinkling chandeliers to create a grand affair.
The restaurant also offers a champagne brunch experience for four night cruises or more, comprising of an assortment of finger sandwiches and snacks as well as the flow of fine champagne and rich bubbly.
Remy requires reservations to be made, once booked, diners are invited to meet a sommelier in Remy’s wine room to pre-select wines for the evening. The Wine Room sits behind glass walls with marble floors and more than 900 bottles of wine to offer.
Remy requests a strict dress code. Men are asked to wear a jacket with trousers and smart shoes (ties are optional), for women a cocktail dress or evening suit is required. Jeans, shorts, sandals and trainers are not allowed.
The Meridian is the lounge bar located in between both adult only restaurants, open throughout the evening for a pre-dinner cocktail or after dinner beverage. Enjoy the sea views from either indoors or on the outdoor terrace where you can welcome in the evening as the sun sets beautifully over the ocean and you are called for your reservation.
